OUR VISION

Three Rivers Metropolitan Church imagines a renaissance ministry. It is
that place; a spark of hope, where the community recognizes God’s spirit
is flowing through his people, and it is available to them in order to help
facilitate a better life for anyone who is hungry for God’s word, and who
wants to personally experience Christ’s saving love.

OUR MISSION

Take territory for the Kingdom and increase in our

capacity to provide resources and services for the community.

OUR CHURCH

Founded December 18, 2023, Three Rivers Metropolitan Church was formed

by merging three churches in the body of Christ: Good Samaritan and Miller Street, both
Baptist churches, and Rehoboth, rooted in the Church of God in Christ (COGIC). Each
congregation represents one of the three rivers, flowing together as one, much like the three
rivers of Pittsburgh.

Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet, Praise him
with harp and lyre, praise him with tambourine and
dancing praise him with the strings and flute, praise him
with the clash of cymbals praise him with resounding
cymbals. Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.
~Psalms 150:3-6

Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old
he will not depart from it. ~Proverbs 22:6

The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words
I have spoken to you are spirit and they are life. ~ John 6:63

OUR MINISTRIES

OUR PASTOR AND FIRST LADY

Dr. Terrance L. Davis embodies a multifaceted tapestry of talents and a deep commitment to service. As an esteemed author, prolific speaker, strategic administrator, anointed preacher, and pastor, he leaves an indelible mark wherever his journey takes him. Driven by a divine calling, Dr. Davis answered the call to preach in 1998. He was licensed as a minister at Second Baptist Church in Penn Hills under the guidance of Pastor McMahon Gray. Subsequently, he found his spiritual home at Miller Street Baptist Church, where Pastor Franklin D. Rose ordained him as an elder. Here, his passion for music found expression as a worship leader, youth choir director, playwright, and mime choreographer. Under the mentorship of the late Prelate Reverend Dr. Loran E. Mann, General Board Member and Bishop of the Vermont Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction of the Church of God in Christ, Dr. Davis served with distinction at Pentecostal Temple Church of God in Christ. As Superintendent of the Pittsburgh District, he led with unwavering dedication, also serving as the worship leader during the live Sunday morning broadcast on WGBN Gospel Radio. Dr. Davis's heart beats for ministry beyond the pulpit. He has dedicated countless hours to volunteer work at the Allegheny County Jail, offering counsel, prayer, and ministry to those incarcerated. Furthermore, he has spearheaded mentoring programs aimed at nurturing and empowering the next generation of leaders in their communities, homes, and churches.
